• August 21 - Fall Sports Pictures at 3:00 pm (Sports Picture Form)

• August 22 - Freshmen/Transfer Student Orientation 6:00-8:00 pm

• August 22 - Luau (Lutheran Westland Students Only) 8:00-9:00 pm

  • Student Council will host a Luau on Thursday, August 22 from 8:00 to 9:00 pm following the Freshmen/transfer student orientation. All LHWL students are invited and encouraged to attend. Please wear Hawaiian attire (no bathing suits). Ice-cream will be served. This is a good time to catch up with old friends and make some new ones. We hope to see you there.
    

• August 26 - School Begins 7:55 am - Noon, Freshman Seminar 12:00-3:00 pm

  • This will be a half-day of school for grades 10-12 with classes being dismissed at 12:00 noon.

  • Freshmen will attend Freshman Seminar from noon until 3 pm. (Lunch will be provided).

  • A full day of classes will begin Tuesday, August 27 at 7:55 am and will be dismissed at 3:10 pm.

  • There will be no school on Friday, August 30 or Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day.

• August 29 - School Pictures (School Picture Form)

  • Student pictures will be taken on Thursday, August 29. Pictures will be taken for I.D. cards at no cost to the students. Order forms for purchasing pictures are included in your student's registration packet. You may also order online at mylifetouch.com Picture Day ID: LM749085YO

  • Seniors will have their picture taken this day for their student I.D. cards and transcript pictures only. All seniors must be photographed at Prestige for the yearbook and composite picture. All families should have received information from Prestige this summer. If you have not, please call Sue Bavol at 734-422-2090 for information.

• September 9- Parent Back to School Night at 6:30 pm

  • Meet with Teachers

  • Learn Class Requirements

  • Meet Fellow Parents
