Future Warrior Day is a great opportunity for 7th & 8th graders to learn more about Lutheran Westland and all the exciting things we have to offer! Students will be led through a number of different stations throughout the school that will give them a better understanding why Lutheran Westland is one of the best high schools in the area! Lunch will be provided for all students!

interested in Art?

Come and join us to learn more about our Art Program with our Art teacher, Mrs. Backus, along with our Industrial Arts program with our Industrial Arts teacher, Mr. Ruth!

3rd-8th graders are invited to join Mrs. Backus in creating an art project and have fun, while 7th and 8th graders are invited to join Mr. Ruth in making and assembling a wood project to take home!  Spots are limited for the Industrial Arts portion, so register today! 

CALLING ALL WARRIORS!

Come enjoy a night of fellowship and fun with members of our Lutheran Westland community (past or present!). Our very own Alli Unger will be leading a craft workshop on Wednesday, September 25th at 6pm. It only costs $25 to attend! Light snacks will be provided as well as all needed materials. You’ll leave with five handmade birthday cards to send to friends and family. There is only enough space for 15 registrants… so register today!

Join the Lutheran Westland faculty and staff to learn all about your student’s upcoming schedule, teachers, and school year at our Back to School Night. Parents will visit each of their student's classes to meet with the teacher, learn about the class, and have an opportunity to ask questions. Opening Devotion will begin at 6:30pm!

Attention Incoming Warriors!

Parents and new incoming students (freshmen & transfers) will meet on Wednesday, August 14th at 7:00 PM in the main gym. This meeting will help you prepare for the start of school and finish any outstanding items. You will also be given your schedule and have an opportunity to walk through your student’s daily schedule. That includes practicing the locker combination a few times! 😉 Teachers will be there to meet with both parents & students.

*Registration for golfers closes on June 2 at 10am! Registration & Donations are also available through the office via phone or email (RBaglow@lhsa.com)!

Registered students and their parents will be able to learn more about the extracurricular options Lutheran Westland has to offer. Coaches will be handing out summer schedules with weight room hours, open gyms, and camp dates. Drama and music groups will also be sharing information. Join us!

Be sure to join us for a night full of brilliant performances on Thursday, May 16th at 6:30pm. This evening will feature appearances from the Lutheran Westland Band and Choir, as well as the Praise Band. The concert theme for this year is Peace, Joy, & Love!

He is Risen Easter Cookie Class is a benefit class for the Central Ohio Lutheran Immigrant Mission, & their mission is to help further ministry to the diversified community of Central Ohio. This class will be taught by Christine Meyer, wife to Warrior alumni Rev. Benjamin Meyer (97’) & owner of Cookieburg!

The class is for the beginner or intermediate cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! The cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in will all be provided - we just need YOU! Tickets are $30, buy yours below!

Are you a future warrior interested in geometry?

Join us at 3:30pm on March 5th, 6th, or 11th for our Geometry Readiness Test! The Geometry Readiness Test indicates if an incoming freshman has mastered the required skills of Algebra I and is ready to begin high school math in Geometry. Be sure to bring two pencils, a calculator, scrap paper, water, and a snack. Save your spot & register below.

*This test is only for students who plan to take Geometry their freshman year

At this event students & parents will learn more about their life at Lutheran Westland from Principal, Mr. Lorenzen and School Counselor, Mrs. Unger. Students will use this time as an opportunity to register for 9th grade classes, as well as participate in an official signing day.

If you cannot make this day, please join us at this event on February 27th. Registration is not required!
