Welcome to Lutheran Westland, Mr. Brown!

We are pleased to welcome Mr. Justin Brown as our assistant principal and athletic director.  He is a graduate of Central Michigan University where he majored and earned teaching certificates in Art and Science.  After his undergraduate work, he went on to receive his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership with a focus in school principalship. 

Mr. Brown has taught in the Mt. Pleasant school district and most recently has been in the West Bloomfield public school district for the last 5 years.

During his previous experience in schools, Mr. Brown has taught both Art and Science.  He has been an Academic Department Chair, After School Director, STEM program initiator, Oakland County Aspiring Leadership Academy representative and also coached football, basketball, and baseball.

As a 2001 graduate of Lutheran Northwest, Mr. Brown is very familiar with our LHSA.  He and his wife Jessica and 6-month-old daughter Brynley have been members at St. John Lutheran Church in Rochester.  They are looking forward to the transition to Lutheran Westland as well as finding a new church home in one of our WL congregations.
